What I'm looking for:
Everything! Wolves, foxes, fennec foxes, ferrets, servals, bobcats, tigers, other big cats, small cats, deers, dragons, gryphons, dogs, birds, hybrids, original species.. bring it!
I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:
-White base color with black and red markings<33 (mostly on canines)
-Cute and fluffy things! No need to go all big eyes and oversized heads, but animals with fur. Creepy and slimy things just aren't my thing.. Still don't be afraid to make something dark/evil
-Anything tribal
-Native american stuff
-Feathers!
-Tawny, golden, brown, white, red, blue, cyan, gray, black (well, not all combined)

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you  finally  made  the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq  to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean  more quality to the paintings, am i right?. 
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only  to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

NECCC Conference &#039;08

News:

Well it was a damn good time. I only missed the first and the last classes/lectures. Every presentation I attended was great fun to see and/or very informative. I have seen thousands of photos this weekend and I think every single one was better than anything I have ever done. Attending this was definitely humbling but also gave me so much to work on and aspire to. The featured speaker was Joe McNally, a photographer for Time, Life, National Geographic, etc. He was great. It is awesome to see the person behind so many images I have marveled over over the years (like in National Geographic covers). I loved hearing the back story behind all the amazing photos he had taken.

Other than the classes, I took more photos than I have in weeks. I took all sorts of stuff from people to architecture, models to ducks, and flowers to sunsets. It was a good weekend for photos I guess. I will definitely have a lot to post after I make it through everything in the next couple days.

To anyone who lives in New England or in driving distance, this conference is a ridiculous bargain. I missed 2 classes and figured out that it ended up being less than $10 for the ones I went to. Please tell me where you can attend lectures or classes for cheaper than that.

The only bad thing that happened was that I was planning to attend the very last concert that the band Dispatch will ever play. It was going to be amazing - going to a giant concert with a bunch of people in NYC at Madison Square garden. I ended up missing my train in Albany due to ridiculous traffic. Then basically everything else went wrong as well so I never got to the city. I spent $100-200 and about 8 hours driving for one of the most frustrating days I have ever had.....what a great way to spend my money.

I know a bunch of people that saw Dispatch, and I really wish I could've gone.

Glad to hear you enjoyed the NECCC conference. Hopefully I'll be able to go next year.
